The photocatalytic degradation of trichloroethylene(TCE) in the gas phase without water using anatase titanium dioxide powder as catalyst was studied.It was proved that the products were HCl,CO2 and Cl2.The equation of photocatalytic degradation agreed with Langmuir-Hinshelwood rate form.Reaction schemes of TCE were proposed as valence band hole direct oxidation. |
