| A projection pursuit regr essive model on concentration forecast of pollutant was invest igated by analysing environmental monitoring data. Use is being made of the new idea of examination of data-simulation-forecast of projection pursuit regressive techniques. Concentration forecast of water pollutants BOD and DO were carried out, respectively, using this model. The results of the forecasts showed that the qualified rates of fitting and forecasting of the model acquire 100% and 83.3%, respectively. |
