An analysis on the flow pattern, the organic matter degradation by biofilm, and the biofilm forming in an internal circulating three-phase biofluidised bed was conducted, based on the reactor theory, biofilm kinetics and hydrodynamics, It was found that D/ud was constant in the reactorand the efficiency factor was calculated for a general municipal wastewater treatment system and the relationship between circulating velocity and reactor size was estabilished.Some possible optimization ways to increase the reactor efficiency was also suggested. |
