| A study was made to simulate the biodegradation Ptocess of a mixed system of 21 orgnic pollutants which were detectable in the songhuajisng myer, by using the water samples and sediments collected from different sites of the River as the sources of microorgsnism. The results showed that the main factors affecting the biodegradation included the structures of comPOunds, the sources of microorganism, and the Period of acclimation. Under the conditions of acclimation, the rate of the biodegradation of mixed orgsnic pollutants at a low concentration was found to fit the equation of first order reaction kinetics. |
