| This paper described the Quality control for the analysis of volatile organic pollutants by GC-MS according to the US EPA CLP programme.The criteria of quality control in the process of analysis were presented.Five samples have been analysed in order to demonstrate the procedure.This method is used to quantify most volatile organic compounds having boiling points below 200℃ and compounds are insoluble in water.The practical quantitation limit of this method for an individual compound is approximately 5μg/L for ground water and 5μg/kg for soil and sediment. |
