| The data of ground water quality in Mutan, Lanzhou City, show that NO3- pollution is getting worse. It is found that a close relation exists between the pollution tendency and environmental deterioration in the water-supply-source site. By analysis, the essential cause of NO3- pollution in ground water is derived from fertilizing the farmland around with a huge amount of nitrogenous manure. |
