| A general description on microbial degradation of pesticides is given in this review. The subject covers following aspects: isolation of the microbe-degraders, bio-degradation pathway of some pesticides, and characteristics ol microhial metabolism and involved enzymes. The practical approaches to biological detoxification of pesticides have also been discussed. |
