A study of formation and emission of NOx in the pre-combustor of coal water slurry (CWS) and oil spray combustion has been presented in this paper. The experiments showed that emission of NOx and flatne temperature in two-stage burning were lower than that in one-stage burning. The emission of NOx was lower than 150 ppm (based upon 6% excess of air), as using pre-combustor in burning coal water slurry. Thus CWS may be considered as a cleaning fluid fuel, and the pre-combustor is a less pollution combustion device. |
