The Qinling Mountains are known as China's “green core” and have rich biodiversity and important ecological service value. Based on the GEE platform and combined with MODIS remote sensing image data, the remote sensing ecological index (RSEI) was constructed by principal component analysis. The Theil-Sen trend analysis, Mann-Kendall test, Hurst index model, and geographic detector were used to study the change trend and continuous characteristics of RSEI in the Qinling Mountains from 2002 to 2022 and explore its driving factors. The results showed that: ① On the time scale, the RSEI in the Qinling Mountains has been growing steadily, and the area of the growth area reached 75.96% from 2002 to 2022, and the overall level was relatively high, with a multi-year average of 0.59. ② On the spatial scale, the RSEI in the Qinling Mountains presented a distribution characteristic of “high in the middle and low in the north and south”, and the foothills were deeply affected by urbanization. ③ Dynamic perspective analysis showed that the change of RSEI in the Qinling Mountains was mainly an increasing trend. Combined with the Hurst index, 44.04% of the RSEI in the Qinling Mountains will continue to maintain a good condition in the future. ④ The analysis of geographic detectors showed that the annual average temperature and land use type had the greatest impact on the spatial differentiation of RSEI in the Qinling Mountains, and human activities have accelerated the process of urbanization, while also having an increasingly severe impact on the ecological environment. |
