Starch/PCL blends (SPCL6) was synthesized and characterized, and used as carbon source and biofilm supporter simultaneously, the feasibility and efficiency in the solid-phase denitrification process was investigated. The results showed that starch/PCL blends could serve as solid carbon source for denitrification of low C/N ratio wastewater. A high denitrification performance was observed after 1 d acclimatization. Solid-phase denitrification is a zero-order reaction, influent nitrate concentration had no obvious effect on denitrification rate. Hydrodynamic shear force played an important role in denitrification process, the denitrification rate increased from 0.0165 mg·(g·h)-1 to 0.0328 mg·(g·h)-1 when the rotating speed increasing from 70 r·min-1 to 140 r·min-1. The IR analysis confirmed the biodegradation of starch and PCL in SPCL6 blends. |
