The new composite activated sludge system named Semiplug flow reactor is discussed with the analysis of its application and actual projects.The system has high organism removal efficiency and better antishockload capacity,and the sludge bulge seldom occurs in it.The new activated sludge system is fit for industrial wastewater treatment.
