| In this paper, a brief introduction is given to the concept, main content, procedure and interface of risk assessment and risk management. Risk assessment is gaining increasing importance to the regulatory decision-making bodies in the process of formulatign policies intending to minimize health risks resulting from exposure to hazardous substances. Recent trends of risk assessment of environmental hazards are also reviewed. |
