| This paper deals with an investigation of the bacteria populations which were isolated from activated sludge from wastewater of the Yunnan Printing-Dyeing Mill and bad the function of purifying wastewater. 75 strains of bacteria, 5 strains of actinomyces and 2 strains of fungt vere isolated, and identified to genus, 14 genera in total, among which some strains of Pseudomonas, Zoogloca and Fiavobacterium were predominent. C28 (Proteus sp.) has strongly decolorizing effect on the wastewater containing azo dyes, when it is used simultaneously with activated sludge, decolorizing rate can reach above 90%. |
