大气细颗粒物(PM2.5, 空气动力学直径小于2.5 μm)对气候、人类健康和环境有着重要影响[1~5].在许多空气污染严重的地区, 二次有机气溶胶(secondary organic aerosol, SOA)在PM2.5中占比越来越高[6].例如, Cao等[7]对珠江三角洲的研究表明, 珠海地区的SOC占总PM2.5的10.9%, 广州的SOC占PM2.5的11.9%;徐昶[8]的研究发现上海地区二次有机气溶胶在颗粒物中的占比高达29.4%.
SOA的形成机制十分复杂, 通常认为是由其前体物挥发性有机物(volatility organic compounds, VOCs)经气相化学反应生成半挥发性有机物后, 经过气-粒分配凝结到已有颗粒物上形成[9].SOA的前体物一般包括人为源排放的挥发性有机物(如苯、甲苯和二甲苯等)以及植物排放的VOCs(如异戊二烯和单萜烯等).但近年的研究表明, 基于这类前体物的SOA模拟效果往往不尽如人意, 模式对SOA的模拟存在大幅度的低估[10~12].
Robinson等[13]提出中间挥发性有机化合物(intermediate volatility organic compounds, IVOCs)是一类重要的SOA前体物, 其有效饱和浓度(c*)在103~106 μg·m-3, 这大致相当于C12~C22正构烷烃的挥发度范围[14].有研究表明, 尽管IVOCs只是SOA前体物的一小部分, 但仍可以生成大量的SOA[15~17].例如, Couvidat等[18]的研究表明, 利用传统模型(缺乏IVOCs)对SOA进行模拟, 得到SOA的产量低于观测值; Woody等[19]的研究发现将IVOCs加入模型后, 得到的SOA更接近于测量值.IVOCs的主要来源包括生物质燃烧[20,21]、机动车排放[22,23]、工业[24]以及船舶[25]等.其中, 生物质燃烧排放的IVOCs占比可达4.5%[26].生物质燃烧过程中会产生大量的一次污染物(如CO和NOx等)以及二次污染物的前体物(如VOCs和IVOCs), 这些污染物会直接或间接影响太阳辐射从而改变大气的辐射平衡、大气光化学性质, 造成严重的空气质量问题[27].近年来, 许多学者对生物质燃烧的排放展开了研究.例如, Stockwell等[28]通过测量来自丛林、农作物残渣以及许多其他类型火灾的生物燃烧排放, 提出了一套具有全球意义的生物质燃料的新排放因子; Chen等[29]对生物质燃烧造成的对人体健康和空气质量的影响进行探讨.在许多研究中, 多是先得到一次有机气溶胶(primary organic aerosol, POA)或者某个IVOCs物种(如萘)的排放量, 再基于IVOCs/POA或者IVOCs/Nap的比例对IVOCs的排放量进行估算[30,31].目前, IVOCs未列入或被错误分类在传统的排放清单中, 仅有个别研究了我国IVOCs的排放情况.例如, Wu等[26]首次编制了2010年珠江三角洲地区S/IVOCs排放清单, 并用WRF-Chem模型模拟了SOA的形成, 研究其在珠江三角洲地区的影响因素.王倩等[32]构建长三角地区2017年机动车IVOC排放清单, 并估算其对SOA生成潜势的影响.
近年来, 由国家大气研究中心(national center atmospheric research, NCAR)开发的基于Terra和Aqua极地轨道卫星的野火排放清单(fire inventory from NCAR, FINN)[33,34]已用于许多模型研究中, 以模拟火灾对化学和气候的影响.例如, 通过在WRF-Chem模型中使用FINN排放, Jiang等[35]探讨了2007年8月在爱达荷州和蒙大拿州发生的一场野火事件中, 火羽对臭氧化学的影响.Val Martin等[36]将FINN排放与卫星观测结合使用, 探讨了科罗拉多州火灾烟雾对空气质量以及区域气候的重要性.
长三角地区作为我国重点城市集群之一, 人口数量庞大, 经济发展迅猛, 同时长期存在灰霾现象[27,37,38].目前, 已有一些针对长三角地区的生物质燃烧排放的研究[32,39,40], 但对长三角地区IVOCs的研究十分缺乏, 也尚未建立完整的IVOCs源排放清单.本文以长江三角洲地区作为研究对象, 基于卫星火点排放模型(FINN)以及IVOCs/POA比例对2010~2018年长江三角洲地区的生物质燃烧IVOCs排放量进行估算, 并分析其不确定性.
1 材料与方法 1.1 研究范围本研究以2010~2018年为目标年份, 研究区域为长江三角洲三省一市, 即江苏省、浙江省、安徽省及上海市(图 1).长三角地区是中国第一大经济区、全球重要的先进制造业基地, 2017年长三角地区生物质(小麦、水稻、玉米、豆类以及油菜)产量达到8 466.4万t(数据来源:各市2018年统计年鉴), 其中上海市占1%, 安徽省占50%, 浙江省占8%和江苏省占41%.
野火排放清单提供了全球高时(日排放量)空(1 km×1 km)的露天燃烧排放清单[33].FINN的排放量估算是基于Wiedinmyer等[34]描述的框架, 利用卫星的探测并结合土地覆盖资料、排放因子以及燃料负荷, “自下而上”计算露天生物质燃烧的污染物排放量, 其计算公式如下:
式中, Ei是生物质燃烧的排放量, A(x, t)是燃烧面积, B(x)是生物质载荷, FB是燃烧因子, efi是排放因子, i指生物质燃烧排放的污染物种类, t和x分别指生物质燃烧发生的时间和地点[41].
1.2.2 IVOCs/POA比例法目前, IVOCs的排放量的确定多是通过IVOCs/POA的比例法计算的.例如, 有研究中分别使用0.25~2.8倍POA[42]、1.5倍POA[21,43,44]、4.5倍POA[45]及0.83~5.57倍POA[46]作为生物质燃烧的IVOCs排放量.
(1) POA的确定 本研究中的长三角生物质燃烧OC的排放量直接来自FINN野火排放清单.不同的研究中使用的POA/OC比例不同, 如1.2[47]、1.4[48]和1.57[45].本研究取1.4作为平均值计算.
(2) IVOCs的计算 如表 1所示, 不同的研究在使用POA估算IVOCs排放量时选取的IVOCs/POA比值不同, 且变化范围较大(0.25~5.57).由于IVOCs/POA的比值选取不同, 最终计算的IVOCs排放量差别巨大.因此, 本研究选取较多已有研究中的IVOCs/POA的比例(IVOCs/POA = 1.5)作为平均值进行初步估算, 并且通过蒙特卡罗进一步分析其不确定性.
2 结果与讨论 2.1 FINN卫星火点结果分析
图 2为FINN模型得到的2010~2018年生物质燃烧火点的空间分布. 2014年以前长三角地区北部火点非常密集.这是由于安徽省是农业大省, 且以水稻与小麦秸秆为主, 会出现大范围的秸秆燃烧. 2014年以后, 长三角火点分布明显减少, 2016~2018年维持着较低的火点分布.从时间分布上看, 2010~2018年长三角地区火点数整体呈现下降趋势(图 3), 过去3 a(2016~2018年)火点数维持在6 000左右, 与2016年之前的火点数相比, 下降了约60%, 这很大程度上是由于文献[50]的发布, 致使长三角地区自2013年起纷纷出台相应的禁止焚烧秸秆等政策.图 3为2010~2018年期间每年的火点数量.
图 4为2010~2018年长三角地区逐年生物质燃烧IVOCs的排放量, 其上下误差线为OC/POA以及IVOCs/POA的最小比例与最大比例所得到的范围.利用IVOCs/POA平均值计算得到2010~2018年长三角地区IVOCs的排放总量约为73.4万t, 2013年IVOCs排放量最多, 为14.3万t, 2018年最少, 为3.2万t.从图 4中的误差线可以看出, 由于POA/OC以及IVOCs/POA比值选取不同, IVOCs的估算量差异巨大, 最小、最大值可差29倍. 2013年长三角IVOCs排放量达到峰值后, 2014年明显降低, 并在2015~2018年保持一个相对较低的排放量水平.
从月变化来看(图 5), 长三角地区IVOCs的排放与火点数主要集中在5~8月, 高峰值在6月, 其次在10月有一个小高峰, 主要是由于夏粮、秋粮(小麦、水稻、玉米等)收获后大量焚烧秸秆引起的.
图 6和图 7为2010~2018年长三角三省一市发生的火点数, 以及对应的IVOCs排放量.安徽省和浙江省火点数较多, 江苏省次之, 上海市最低.2010~2018年期间, 浙江省由于生物质燃烧产生的IVOCs排放量最多, 达31.1万t, 安徽省次之, 为26.2万t, 江苏省为14.7万t, 上海市最低, 为1.5万t.单位面积的排放量分别为2.95、2.48、1.37和0.42 t·km-2.
FINN排放清单涉及6种植被类型的燃烧, 分别是草原、灌木、热带森林、温带森林、温带常绿林和农作物.图 8~9为2010~2018年长三角地区不同植被的火点数及对应的排放量.在2010~2018年之间, 农作物的火点数一直最高(占总火点数的67.7%), IVOCs排放量占总IVOCs的39.1%, 虽然在2013年之后, 由于禁烧秸秆政策的出台, 农作物火点数减少, 但依旧在6种植被中占比最大, 达到66.4%~71.4%.另外, 草原也有着较多的火点数, 但由于其排放因子小, 所以产生的IVOCs排放量低, 只占排放总量的6.2%.灌木在2010至2013年有着较高的火点数(2 257个)与IVOCs排放量(3.68万t), 但在2014年之后, 火点数与IVOCs排放明显降低, 且一直保持较低的趋势, 火点数只占5.5%~6.3%, IVOCs排放量占总排放量的6.6%~8.8%.
本研究中基于FINN野火排放清单中的有机碳(OC)及POA/OC、IVOCs/POA比例计算得到2010~2018年长三角地区生物质燃烧的IVOCs排放量.这种方法相对简单、直接, 但由于FINN清单本身具有一定的不确定性, 且采用的POA/OC以及IVOCs/POA的比值取值范围较大, IVOCs排放量具有较大的不确定性.因此, 本研究利用蒙特卡罗模拟进行相应的不确定性分析, POA/OC的比值取对数正态分布, POA/IVOCs的比值取伽马分布[26], FINN排放估计的不确定性约为2倍[33], 最终基于POA/OC以及IVOCs/POA比例法获得的IVOCs排放量的不确定范围为-99%~68%.目前, 针对IVOCs排放量尤其是生物质燃烧的IVOCs排放量的研究十分缺乏.Wu等[26]编制了珠江三角洲地区IVOCs排放清单, 基于IVOCs/POA比例系数法得出2010年珠江三角洲的生物质燃烧IVOCs排放量为1.44万t, 占所有源IVOCs排放总量的4.5%, 不确定性范围为-100%~336%.
3 结论(1) 基于FINN清单并利用IVOCs/POA比例法首次对长三角地区的生物质燃烧IVOCs排放总量进行了估算.
(2) 研究区域火点数最多的月份是5~8月, 其次在10月有个小高峰.火点数最多的省份是浙江省和安徽省, 燃烧最多的植被类型是农作物.
(3) 在2010~2018年期间, 平均每年火点数约为104, 由于秸秆禁燃政策的出台, 长三角地区火点数呈下降趋势.
(4) 2010~2018年期间, 生物质燃烧IVOCs排放总量平均值为73.4万t, 不确定范围是-99%~68%, 该数据为后续进一步模拟生物质燃烧对长三角地区二次有机气溶胶的生成影响提供重要的基础数据.
