| Based on a section of the Jinan-Qinsdao Express Highway in the suburbs of Qingdao City which is a typical compound highway of elevated structure, an analysis has been made on the relationship between its traffic noises and the factors involved. A mathematical model has been also established for predicting the traffic noises from an elevated express compound highway. It is found that the theoreticalcal culations bssed on this model are generally coincident with the actually simulated measurements. |
