| Baosan Iron and Steel Complex is situated on the north of Shanghai city. The purpose of this study was to assess the influence of atmospheric diffusion of pollutants from the Complex to Shanghai city. By using SF6 tracer-for field experiments and model simulation, the result showed that concentration of SO2 in the ambient air of the urban districts around the Complex was below permissible level under any meteorological conditions. |
